If you find that the Copilot button is not appearing in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Microsoft Excel, you may need to update your license.
To do so, open the Microsoft App, such as PowerPoint, go to File -> Account, then look for and click the "Update License" button. This will request a login to Microsoft's services:
When completed, restart PowerPoint. After restarting the program, you should see the Copilot icon in the toolbar:
