Help Activating Your WFU Email Account

Your username and WFU email address are provided to you during the account claim process.

How to Find Your WFU Account Activation Email

If you're having trouble locating your Wake Forest account activation email, try searching your inbox using one or more of the following keywords:

Welcome to Wake Forest University

"WFU account has been created"

from:[email protected]>

subject:(WFU Google Mail)

Using these keywords in your email search should help you locate the welcome message that contains your account activation details

If you have not received your WFU email account activation and account information and you feel that you should have already, please contact the IS Service Desk for assistance.

Activating your WFU account

What you will need: WFU ID Number, and your Activation Code that was emailed to you. (If you do not see the activation code in your email, please make sure to check your spam).

Go to account.wfu.edu and select Activate Account:

You will be prompted to enter the following information:

Last Name
WFU ID Number (provided in your welcome email)
Activation Code (Also in the welcome email)

Click Activate once everything is filled out.

After submitting your information:

You will be shown your WFU username — be sure to make a note of it.
You will be prompted to create a secure password.
You will set up 2-step authentication for additional security.
