  • AIStudio is experimental. As such, features or other resources in this platform could change or disappear.

About AI Studio

If you are comfortable using AI chat platforms like Gemini and ChatGPT, but curious to take your AI experimentation further, it may be time to look at Google AI Studio, available to all WFU accounts in our Wake Forest Google Workspace environment.

Google AI Studio is a cloud-based development environment designed for working with Gemini, Google's next-generation multimodal AI models, letting you create, test, and deploy AI-driven applications in an interactive, low-code environment. Launched to simplify AI experimentation, the platform provides a prompt-based interface where developers can fine-tune and evaluate AI outputs in real-time.

AIStudio Sampler: Six cool things you can do in this AI sandbox

  1. Play and laugh with a variety of Google's starter apps. Pictured here is an example of their Explain Things With Lots of Tiny Cats app. Bizarre but LOL-worthy outputs can brighten a day.
  2. Let AIStudio help you auto-create multiple Google calendar events from data on start, end, location and date in your own Google Sheet. AIStudio can describe how to do this in step-by-step fashion and give you the code to use.
  3. Stream Realtime: film plants in your garden and ask AIStudio to provide some suggestions on care or design. Note: do not share sensitive or confidential data with AIStudio as it is not yet protected by data protections. This also applies to content in images and video.
  4. Talk to Gemini and have a conversation in the same way you'd use the chat.
  5. ask AIStudio for help cleaning up html or other code given a problem or set of enhancements you would like help with.
  6. ask AIStudio to create a simple web app given your goals and information.

Have other cool discoveries for AIStudio or any other AI tool? We would love to hear about it. Submit your discovery to our AI@Work Google Form, and thanks in advance for sharing!
