Setting up a Gmail account on your Android

Step 1: Open the Gmail App:

• Tap the Gmail icon on your home screen or app drawer
  

Step 2: Access Account Settings:

• If you’re launching the app for the first time, you may see a welcome screen.
  
• If you already have an account added, tap your profile picture (or initial) in the top right corner, then tap “Add another account.”
  

Step 3: Select Account Type:

•  Choose Google as the account type. This will take you to the Google sign-in page.
  

Step 4: Enter Your Credentials:

• Enter your [email protected] email address. and tap Next.
  
• Enter your password. and tap Next again.
  
• You will then be prompted to complete a  2-step verification method, follow the prompts to complete the sign-in.
  

Step 5: Finish Setup:

•  Once signed in, your Gmail account will be added to the app. You can now access your inbox and customize notifications or settings via the app’s menu.

Setting up a Gmail account on your Pixel

Step 1: Open the Gmail App

• On your Pixel phone, open the Gmail app.
• If this is your first time using it, tap "Add an email address."
• If you already have an account set up, tap your profile picture (top-right corner), then tap "Add another account."
  

Step 2: Choose Account Type

• Select Google, this will take you to the Google Sign-in screen.

Step 3:  Enter Your Credentials:

• Enter your [email protected] email address.

• Enter your password.

• You will then be prompted to complete a  2-step verification method, follow the prompts to complete the sign-in.

Step 4:  Complete Setup

• Once signed in, your Gmail account will be added to the app. You can now access your inbox and customize notifications or settings via the app’s menu.
