Troubleshooting Wireless at WFU

Forgetting a Wireless Network and Reconnecting to a Wireless Network on a Windows PC


  1. Open Wi-Fi Settings by searching for wifi in the search field in the task bar at the bottom of the screen

  2. Navigate to Manage known networks

  3. Find the eduroam network and click Forget

  4. Open the wireless network options by clicking on the wireless icon in the task bar on the bottom right hand side of the screen and then selecting the arrow to the right of the wifi signal button

  5. Select the eduroam network and click Connect

  6. If you see a message about "Continue connecting?" click Connect again

  7. Enter your WFU email address and associated password in the username and password fields. Click OK

  8. You should now see the words Connected, secured" under the eduroam network name. Open an internet browser and test your connection by going to any website of your choosing
