Find a Computer Name

It may be necessary to find the name of your computer when accessing services such as Code 42 (CrashPlan) - follow the directions below:

Windows 10

Right-click the "Start" button in the bottom-lefthand corner of your screen. Search for and select "System." Find "Computer name" in the Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings section

Mac

  • Click on the "Apple" icon in the Menu bar and click "System Preferences"

  •   Click "Sharing"

  •   Computer Name will be found at the top of the Sharing Preferenceswindow
