Google Account Setup on Mac

Wake Forest currently uses Google as an email service provider.  You may wish to use the account in its native web interface to ensure complete functionality.  You can access your account by visiting and entering your WFU email address (username) and account password.  If you do not wish to use the web interface and want to utilize the Mac "Mail" client, please follow these instructions:

Email Setup on Mac El Capitan and later

  • Begin by opening System Preferences on your Mac.
  • Click on Internet Accounts
  • Select "Google"
  • Sign in with your WFU email address and password when prompted
  • Ensure that Mail is checked.  You may select the other apps as needed, but they are optional.
