Remove Software from your ThinkPad

As stated in your program agreement for the technology plan, licensing restrictions require the removal of certain software applications from the ThinkPad upon your graduation. An online demonstration can be found here.

The programs listed below must be removed after you graduate from Wake Forest. Note: Depending on the model of your ThinkPad, you may not find all of these programs listed.

To remove the programs:

1. Close any open programs.

2. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

3. A list of Currently Installed Programs will appear. Select the program you would like to remove from the ThinkPad. Then click the Change or Change/Remove button.

4. A series of on-screen instructions will assist you in completing the removal of the software application. When you begin uninstalling Symantec AntiVirus, you will be prompted for a password. The password is plague44.

5. If you wish to remove more than one software application, you will need to repeat these instructions for each application.
