Wake Forest Cable TV 2 Go

Wake Forest CATV 2 Go is a free cable television service for mobile devices available to our students that live in University-owned housing.  Let’s get started!

Get your Account

There is one Time Warner Cable account for each University owned residence hall room, suite or apartment.

If an account does not exist for your room, suite or apartment, follow these instructions:
  • Log in to ResolveIT here to request your account
  • Receive an email from Information Systems with an account number, a phone number and a 4-digit customer code needed for setup 
  • Go to the following website https://myservices.timewarnercable.com/
  • Click on ‘Register here’ next to Don’t have a TWC ID?
  • Enter 27106 as the zip code and the phone number and account number provided in the Information Systems’ email
  • Click ‘Continue’
  • Enter the 4-digit customer code
  • Enter your email address
  • Create a username and password
  • Review the terms of use and check the ‘Terms of Use’ box if you agree 
  • Click ‘Continue’
  • Set up your security questions
  • Click ‘Complete My Registration’

If you or a roommate/suitemate already have an account, set up access for additional roommates/suitemates by following these instructions:
  • Go to https://myservices.timewarnercable.com and enter your TWC ID
  • Click ‘Sign In’
  • Click ‘My Profile’ > ‘User Management’ > ‘Manage Users’
  • Click ‘Add a User’
  • Enter your roommates’ or suitemates’ First Name, Last Name and WFU Google Mail address. [DO NOT check ‘Make this person an Account Partner’ and ‘TWC TV for devices’]
  • Review the terms and conditions and check the ‘Terms and Conditions’ box if you agree
  • Check ‘Send me an email when the invitation has been accepted’ 
  • Click the ‘Add’ button
  • To add another roommate/suitemate, click the ‘Manage Users’ and follow the same process for each roommate/suitemate 
  • Ask your roommate/suitemate to check their WFU Google Mail inbox for an email from Time Warner Cable. Once they receive the email,each roommate/suitemate must do the following:
    • Click on ‘Sign up for a TWC ID’ in the email
    • Create a username and password 
    • Review the terms of use and check the ‘Terms of Use’ box if you agree
    • Click ‘Continue’
    • Set up security questions
    • Click ‘Complete My Registration’

How to Use the Wake Forest CATV 2 Go Service

To view ESPN (Live streaming TV):

On a mobile device:
  1. Download the ‘Watch ESPN’ app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Open the 'Watch ESPN' app and select a video or live TV.
On a computer:
  1. Go to www.watchespn.com 
  2. Click on the ‘Watch Now’ button.
Then for either a mobile device or a computer:

    3. Choose ‘Time Warner Cable’ as the provider and click ‘Continue'





    4. Log in with your TWC username and password




To view BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nick, Spike, or VH1 (On-demand TV)

On a computer:
    *This service is currently NOT available on tablets and mobile phones. 

    1. Browse to the appropriate website:
    • bet.com.tve
    • comedycentral.com/tve
    • mtv.com/tve
    • nick.com/tve
    • spike.com/tve
    • vh1.com/tve
    2. If prompted:
a. Choose ‘Time Warner Cable’ as the provider (the pop-up to select your provider will vary in appearance based on the channel you have selected)
b. Log in with your TWC username and password
