X1 Carbon ThinkPad Features and Specifications (Distributed July 2013-June 2014)

The X1 Carbon ThinkPad was distributed to designated faculty and academic staff beginning in July 2013. Members of the Class of 2015 and 2017 received the X1 Carbon ThinkPad in August 2013. [The standard laptop for the Class of 2015 is the X1 Carbon ThinkPad with 4 Gb memory, 128 Gb SSD, non-touch screen, and i5 2.6 GHz CPU.  The standard laptop for the Class of 2017 is the X1 Carbon ThinkPad with 8 Gb memory, 128 Gb SSD, non-touch screen, and i5 2.6 GHz CPU.]  Readmitted and transfer students who are members of these classes received the X1 Carbon ThinkPad at the time they re-enroll at Wake Forest. Please read on for more information about the hardware and software on this ThinkPad.
