The RIAA and HBO, among others, are watching our campus for copyright violations – don’t be next!  During the past academic year, the Information Systems Department received more than one hundred claims of copyright infringement on the Wake Forest University campus from organizations such as the Recording Industry Association of America.

All of the cases are reported to the Dean’s Office.  Students face university disciplinary action if found in violation of the copyright laws.  The Recording Industry Association of America and other recording industry organizations can and do take legal action against the individuals for the copyright infringement.
